About the Role We’re building a modern multi-vendor marketplace with a strong focus on performance, usability, and trust. As a Frontend Intern, you’ll work on real user-facing features that buyers and vendors interact with daily. This is a hands-on role where your code ships to production. What You’ll Work On Build and improve user-facing pages using React and Next.js Implement product listing pages, product detail pages, cart, and checkout flows Work closely with backend APIs to render real data correctly Handle loading states, empty states, and error states gracefully Optimize frontend performance, images, and page load times Ensure responsive, mobile-first UI across devices Maintain clean, reusable components and consistent UI patterns Tech Stack Frontend: React, Next.js Styling: CSS, Tailwind or similar Data fetching: REST APIs (React Query / SWR is a plus) Version control: Git What We’re Looking For Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Working knowledge of React and basic Next.js concepts Understanding of how frontend talks to backend APIs Awareness of performance, loading states, and UX basics Ability to think in user flows, not just components Willingness to learn, iterate, and accept feedback Nice to Have Experience building any real project (personal, freelance, college, hackathon) Basic understanding of SEO and server-side rendering Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first layouts Exposure to marketplace, e-commerce, or dashboard-style UIs What You’ll Learn How production-grade frontend systems are built and maintained How to work with real APIs, real data, and real edge cases Performance optimization and UX best practices Collaboration with backend and product teams How to ship features end-to-end in a startup environment This will be a paid internship.

About the Role We’re building a multi-vendor marketplace from the ground up. As a Backend Intern, you’ll work closely with senior engineers on real production systems including user management, product catalogs, orders, payments, and vendor workflows. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a shadowing internship. What You’ll Work On Build and maintain backend APIs for user, product, cart, order, and payment flows Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and write clean, efficient queries Assist in integrating payment gateways and handling webhooks safely Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control Help design and maintain clean data models for marketplace use cases Debug production issues and improve reliability and performance Collaborate with frontend and product teams to ship features end-to-end Tech Stack Backend: Node.js (NestJS preferred, Express acceptable) Database: PostgreSQL Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2 basics) Auth: JWT / OAuth (Cognito is a plus) Payments: Razorpay, PhonePe, Stripe (exposure is a plus) What We’re Looking For Strong fundamentals in JavaScript / TypeScript Basic understanding of backend concepts like APIs, databases, and authentication Familiarity with SQL and relational data modeling Clear understanding of how frontend and backend interact Willingness to learn production-grade systems and best practices Ability to think logically, ask questions, and take ownership Nice to Have Prior experience with NestJS or structured backend frameworks Exposure to payment gateways or webhook handling Understanding of transactions, concurrency, and error handling Basic AWS knowledge Experience building or contributing to real projects What You’ll Gain Real experience working on a production marketplace Strong foundation in backend engineering and system design Mentorship from experienced engineers Exposure to payments, scaling, and real-world edge cases A chance to grow into a full-time backend or full-stack role This is a paid internship
