Responsibilities:
Installation & ConfigurationDeploy Azure Stack HCI clusters using Windows Admin Center (WAC) and PowerShell.Configure Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and networking (RDMA, VLANs, Switch Embedded Teaming).Register clusters with Azure for hybrid features (Arc, Azure Monitor, Backup, Site Recovery).
Cluster OperationsPerform health checks, cluster validation, and rolling updates.Manage workloads like Hyper-V VMs, AKS on HCI, SQL.Configure and manage disaster recovery (stretch clusters, replication).
Hybrid Cloud IntegrationConnect on-prem HCI to Azure services (Arc, Security Center, Defender for Cloud).Enable monitoring, alerting, and reporting with Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
Security & ComplianceApply patching, OS updates, and firmware upgrades.Enforce RBAC, Azure AD integration, and identity policies.Implement backup and data encryption (BitLocker, Storage Replica).
Troubleshooting & SupportDiagnose cluster/network/storage issues.Work with Microsoft support for escalations.Document fixes, operational procedures, and runbooks.
Highly skilled Azure Stack HCI Architect to join our team remotely from India or the USA. This role involves architecting, deploying, and managing hybrid cloud infrastructure leveraging Microsoft Azure Stack HCI technologies.
