Azure Infrastructure Engineer (L3 support)

Candidates can share CV at aishwarya.joshi@espire.com Role Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementation, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of Azure infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on expert who can lead complex projects, troubleshoot critical issues, and ensure the smooth operation of Azure-based environments. Relevant Experience: Azure cloud, IAAS, PAAS, Azure Devops, Terraform, Kubernetes Key Responsibilities: 1. Azure Landing Zone • Design and implement Azure Landing Zones to establish a scalable and secure foundation for cloud adoption. • Configure Azure Resource Groups, Policies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to align with organizational governance. • Deploy and manage networking components, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Network Security Groups (NSGs). • Establish connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments using Azure ExpressRoute or VPN Gateway. • Incorporate management groups and subscriptions to create a modular and consistent environment. 2. Automation • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or Bicep. • Automate routine maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, and scaling using Azure Automation or Logic Apps. • Implement deployment pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Schedule and automate cost optimization tasks, including resource cleanup and tagging enforcement. • Leverage Azure Functions to streamline serverless operations for event-driven workflows. 3. Monitoring and Log Management • Configure Azure Monitor to collect and analyse metrics for performance and health monitoring. • Implement Azure Log Analytics and Kusto Query Language (KQL) for centralized log aggregation and analysis. • Set up Application Insights for end-to-end performance monitoring and diagnostics of applications. • Establish alerting mechanisms for proactive identification and resolution of issues. • Ensure compliance by implementing and maintaining audit logs with Azure Policy and Security Centre
