Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade cloud environments. The role requires deep expertise in Azure services, strong operational rigor, and a focus on secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure management.

Strong experience in deploying and administering Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Azure SQL Databases, Key Vault, HDInsight and other data-related services.
Hands-on expertise in managing Azure infrastructure across development, test, and production environments with a focus on security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Solid understanding of Azure identity and access management, including Azure AD, RBAC, conditional access, and managed identities for secure service-to-service communication.
Strong experience implementing and managing network configurations such as VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, route tables, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute).
Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing workloads using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts, Application Insights, and diagnostic logging.
Hands-on experience with governance and compliance, including Azure Policy, tagging standards, resource locks, blueprints, and enforcing platform guardrails.
Experience deploying and supporting data and analytics platforms such as HDInsight clusters, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage based data lakes.
Strong skills in automation using Azure Automation, Functions, PowerShell, and ARM/Bicep templates to streamline deployments and operational tasks.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery using Recovery Services Vaults, backup policies, VM snapshots, and cross-region failover strategies.
Familiarity with cost optimization techniques such as right-sizing, reserved instances, lifecycle management, and monitoring spend across subscriptions.
Proven ability to collaborate with DevOps, data engineering, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud operations.
Ability to clearly document infrastructure designs, operational workflows, and configuration standards for technical and non-technical audiences.
