Azure Devops Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support, automate, and enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud services, automation, and monitoring, and will work closely with global stakeholders, including US-based teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems
  
• Manage and maintain Azure DevOps services (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans)
  
• Design and implement YAML-based CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  
• Provide 24x7 production support through rotational on-call schedules
  
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot systems using KQL, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
  
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python for operations and incident remediation
  
• Work with Azure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, Functions, Key Vault, and Monitor
  
• Manage incidents using Microsoft ICM (ticketing, tracking, resolution)
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional and US-based teams to drive automation and reliability improvements
  
• Build operational dashboards and reports using Power BI / Microsoft Fabric
  
• Participate in incident response, RCA, post-incident reviews, and documentation
  
• Implement SRE best practices including monitoring, alerting, resilience, backup, and CI/CD standards
  
• Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Git, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans)
  
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and architecture
  
• Experience creating and managing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines
  
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation
  
• Hands-on experience with KQL for monitoring and log analysis
  
• Basic knowledge of Power BI / Microsoft Fabric for dashboards and reporting
  
• Experience with Microsoft ICM or similar incident management tools
