Job Overview:

Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using
Azure Data Factory
and
Databricks
.
Build scalable and efficient data transformation processes with
PySpark
.
Implement real-time or near-real-time streaming solutions (experience with
Event Hub
is a plus).
Leverage
Azure Synapse Analytics
for data warehousing and advanced analytics.
Write optimized and complex
SQL queries
for data extraction and manipulation.
Integrate DevOps best practices for CI/CD pipelines to ensure streamlined deployment and testing.
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of experience as a data engineer with expertise in Azure cloud ecosystem.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Databricks
PySpark
Azure Synapse Analytics
SQL
Familiarity with streaming platforms such as
Event Hub
or similar (good to have).
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
, preferably with Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Good to Have:

Experience working in a consulting or Big Four environment.
Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools.
Understanding of data governance and security in cloud platforms.
