Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & Systems Engineer to manage and secure our cloud infrastructure, applications, and enterprise environment. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, administration, monitoring, and securing our Microsoft Azure, Office 365 (M365), and endpoint platforms across multiple tenants. This role includes overseeing Azure infrastructure, SQL & IIS servers, user lifecycle, and enterprise-grade security tools.
Azure Administration & IT Support - Deploy and maintain Azure resources: VMs, storage, NSGs, VNets, backup vaults.
- Manage Azure Web Apps, Static Sites, App Services, and custom domain configurations.
- Perform day-to-day Azure administration tasks including provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets related to Azure services, M365, and end-user IT issues.
- Provide technical assistance to users, including device setup, remote troubleshooting, and application access.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for IT issue resolution and service escalations.
- Maintain documentation of cloud configurations, support procedures, and asset inventory.
Application & Database Management : - Manage IIS Web Servers and hosted web apps, SSL certs, and error handling.
- Administer SQL Server: backups, restores, tuning, and patch management.
- Monitor application availability and performance via Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Comprehensive M365 Tenant Administration : - User Lifecycle: Provisioning, mailbox setup, license assignment, de-provisioning.
- Exchange Online: Mail routing, shared mailboxes, archiving, anti-spam, and aliases.
- Teams & OneDrive: Manage storage policies, resolve sync issues, control group/channel access.
- Azure AD: Conditional Access, MFA, password policies, RBAC, directory sync (AD Connect/ADFS).
Security & Compliance Management : - Manage NinjaOne agents: deployment, health checks, threat monitoring, and response.
- Run KnowBe4 phishing simulations and track user awareness trends.
- Enforce DLP policies across Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Generate monthly patch compliance reports for OS, M365 apps, Java, and Adobe.
- Support SOC2, HIPAA, or internal IT audits through comprehensive logging and reporting.
Monitoring, Alerts, and Reporting : - Setup and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and App Insights.
- Define and route alerts for CPU, disk, memory, uptime, and health events.
- Integrate alerts with Freshdesk, Zendesk, or Jira for incident tracking.
- Build dashboards for weekly/monthly uptime, alert trends, ticket summaries.
- Enable audit logs across platforms; automate export where supported.
Required Skills : - 2+ years in Azure infrastructure management.
- Strong hands-on with Azure VMs, Web Apps, Static Sites, Azure AD.
- Proficient in SQL Server, IIS, and Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience with Intune or NinjaOne for endpoint security and patch compliance.
- Solid scripting in PowerShell (automation, reporting, and policy enforcement).
- Understanding of RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and Azure security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications : - Microsoft Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-400, MS-102, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO).
- Experience with hybrid identity: ADFS or Azure AD Connect.
- Knowledge of phishing simulation, endpoint security, and audit/reporting tools.
