AWS Migration Engineer

Key Skills: Cloud Migration, AWS Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects to AWS using ACDC and related tools. Perform discovery and assessment of application workloads, infrastructure, and dependencies. Use ACDC to gather, analyze, and categorize workloads, define migration waves, and build migration runbooks. Design migration strategies including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting based on business needs. Leverage tools such as AWS Application Discovery Service, Migration Hub, CloudEndure, DMS, and SMS. Ensure secure and compliant migration by applying best practices around IAM, encryption, and logging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams--cloud architects, security, networking, and app owners--to plan and execute migration. Conduct cutover planning, validation, rollback strategy, and post-migration support. Create and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reports throughout the migration lifecycle. Required Experience: 6 - 9 years of IT experience, with strong hands-on cloud migration experience on AWS. In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc. Proven experience working with ACDC in enterprise migration projects. Solid understanding of cloud migration frameworks, workload assessments, and dependency mapping. Proficiency with migration and automation tools: CloudEndure, DMS, Terraform, Ansible, AWS CLI. Experience in Linux/Windows administration, networking, and security in cloud environments. Excellent problem-solving, project tracking, and communication skills. Qualifications : B.
