Job Description

Job Title :- Sr.Platform Engineer

Experience :- 5+ yrs

Senior Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data pipelines using
AWS Glue, EMR, Spark/PySpark, and Athena
Implement and manage
data lakes
using
AWS Lake Formation
Apply
data quality checks and validation rules
within AWS Glue pipelines
Contribute to
data mesh architecture
and ensure domain-driven data ownership
Work within predefined frameworks and coding standards to ensure consistency and reusability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support
data ingestion, transformation, and consumption
Perform light
DevOps tasks using Terraform
for infrastructure-as-code provisioning
Work with
AWS Neptune DB
for graph-based data storage and querying when needed
Optimize performance and ensure security of data solutions within a serverless/cloud-native setup

Mandatory Skills:

AWS Stack:
S3, EMR, Athena, EC2, Serverless (Lambda), Glue
Big Data & ETL:
Spark, PySpark, DataFrames, ETL Design
Data Lakes & Governance:
AWS Lake Formation
Data Quality Frameworks
(within Glue jobs)
DevOps:
Terraform (for infrastructure provisioning)
Experience working with
Neptune DB
or other graph databases

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with
Data Mesh
implementation
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
, Git workflows
Understanding of
distributed systems
and data privacy/security practices
Knowledge of
SQL optimization
, schema design, and data modeling

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently within a remote/distributed team
