AWS Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFront, Route53, and CloudWatch.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud resources using automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar).
Implement and manage security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, and network security groups.
Monitor system performance, availability, and cost; optimize resource utilization.
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and patch management.
Troubleshoot AWS-related incidents and coordinate with development or DevOps teams for resolution.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and integrate with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Support compliance and auditing activities by maintaining proper documentation and configuration baselines.

Required Skills and Experience:

3–8 years of experience in AWS cloud administration or related roles.
Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM).
Experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Basic networking knowledge (VPC, Subnets, Routing, VPN, Security Groups, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Jenkins).
Knowledge of scripting languages such as
Python, Bash, or PowerShell
.
Understanding of monitoring tools like
CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus
.
AWS Certification (e.g.,
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
) is a plus.
