AVP People Advisory Support

As an Assistant Vice President People Advisory Support in the HR Advisory Offshore team at HSBC, your role will involve enabling complex interpretation of policies and procedures, overseeing complex events such as redundancy projects, and collaborating with various specialist teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Engaging and supporting people managers and employees in navigating complex people challenges with coaching and advice. - Applying a risk-based approach within the commercial context to protect and promote the bank's reputation in providing support and guidance related to people issues. - Collaborating with various teams for continuous improvement and resolutions for complex cases, system, or process improvement. - Demonstrating problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning to find appropriate solutions to complex people challenges. - Contributing to knowledge management content to support continuous improvement of People services and products. - Maintaining HSBC control standards and observing the Group People FIM. In terms of leadership and teamwork, you will be expected to manage stakeholder expectations, escalate queries/issues outside your expertise, work effectively with colleagues, provide feedback to management, and cultivate an inclusive environment that supports diversity and high employee engagement. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8+ years of experience in Human Resources or a relevant field - Experience in managing the people aspects of change programs - Excellent organisational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure - Good understanding and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ServiceNow tool At HSBC, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and be valued for your contributions.
