As an AVP - Markets Legal Global Contract Services Knowledge & Data Team member within the Markets Legal master agreement negotiation team (Global Contract Services) in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in supporting the broader Global Contract Services Team and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing final agreements for completeness - Extracting relevant legal and business data points - Assisting with counterparty diligence and execution of master agreements - Managing management information - Storing legal documents in Barclays central document repository The Knowledge & Data Team ensures accurate flow of data elements captured from trading documentation, compliance with record retention regulations, and meeting Chief Data Office requirements. Additionally, you will handle queries efficiently, perform data analysis and remediation, produce reports, and contribute to ad hoc projects as needed. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Experience with data management, analysis, and document management systems - Proficiency in navigating various IT systems used by the Legal function - Ability to assist with research, remediation, and ad hoc projects - Strong organization and communication skills - Openness to flexible work hours - Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) preferred Your primary purpose will be to ensure operations in the region comply with laws and regulations, managing legal and reputational risks for the bank.
