As an Assistant Vice President Large Holdings- Remediation at the company, your role involves a strong understanding of Long, Short, and Takeover Panel (TOP) reporting requirements related to Major Shareholding / Disclosure of Interest / Major Holdings. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end Major Shareholding/Major Disclosure processes across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing monitoring and reporting of positions, reviewing and submitting disclosure filings within regulatory timelines, monitoring regulatory changes, and acting as the primary liaison for issuer queries. Your role will require hands-on experience with major shareholding/disclosure of interest, shot position reporting, and Takeover panel reporting, along with a good knowledge of Equity & Equity related products and Fixed Income Securities. You will need to have familiarity with Long, Short, and TOP reporting standards, strong knowledge of regulatory systems and position monitoring tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members. Your accountabilities will include supporting various business areas with day-to-day initiatives, collaborating with teams across the bank, identifying areas for improvement, developing operational procedures and controls, creating reports and presentations on operational performance, identifying industry trends, and participating in projects to improve operational efficiency. In addition, as an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions, lead a team, set objectives, coach employees, demonstrate leadership behaviours, consult on complex issues, identify ways to mitigate risk, collaborate with other areas of work, engage in complex analysis of data, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
