Job Description

I. POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible to coordinate and manage projects and recurring activities within the following primary areas of responsibility:

Development and preparation of financial statements including but not limited to income statement, balance sheet and cash flows, financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting, maintaining the general ledger including balance sheet reconciliations, control environment over financial reporting and the month-end accounting close processes for the division which includes reporting the financial results to Corporate on a timely and accurate basis.

The position formulates and administers approved accounting practices throughout the division to assure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business, its results of operations and provide reliable information necessary to control operations.

This position is also responsible for the high-level evaluation and analysis of operating results to determine that they are reasonable, personally undertakes or directs staff in making management studies, and assembling and analyzing appropriate financial information to guide prudent decision-making within the Division.

II. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and manages general accounting and control functions. Develops appropriate accounting and control procedures and directs their implementation. Administers general accounting, internal reporting, and coordinate external audit activities related to the Division.

Ensures accurate and timely submission of financial reporting schedules to Corporate and is knowledgeable about the Divisions financial position.

Reviews and analyzes actual performance against budgeted performance and prepares interpretations and reports in order to explain budget deviations.

Supervises analysis of operating results and variance analyses analyze performance trends to validate operating results and financial condition.

Assures efficient utilization of computer technology to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting necessary to facilitate management review and control of division operations, and contribute to timely management decision-making.

Provides significant guidance and counsel to management relative to the financial risks, hazards or opportunities of proposed courses of action.

Assists in special projects of a complex nature such as changes in organizational structure, changes in reporting methods, financial model preparation, and necessary filings to the government or other agencies.

Advises and alerts top management and key managers to variances and trends in financial performance which may require management attention. Exercises accounting control to ensure that budgeted expenditures do not exceed amounts authorized.

Analyzes and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the Division and makes recommendations which will result in cost reduction and profit improvement.

Establishes and maintains policies and procedures which influence the division s financial position and audits to assure that accounting practices are followe'd.

Acts as primary contact with the independent auditors on accounting matters during regular and special audits and assists accordingly.

Conducts performance reviews assesses the quality of performance and Team Member headcount is appropriate for the Division given the current and projected situation. Evaluate Staff performance, identify and plans goals and promotes the growth and development of Team Members within a developing Black Box structure and culture. This position will have 7 to 10 direct reports.

III. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1) Education:

A qualified CA is mandatory for this role.

2) Specialized Skills/Training:

Must have solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Requires good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Extensive knowledge of accounting practices required US GAAP, IFRS. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively interface with top management and outside agencies. Must have good presentation skills, and strong PC skills MS Office, and other accounting and financial planning software. SAP ERP experience required.

3) Experience:

Requires ten or more years of progressive accounting experience including management experience. Public Accounting experience preferred. Offshoring and Global experience required.
