AVP Data/Information (Python/Pyspark)

As a Business Analytics AVP at this company, you play a key role in driving enhancements and projects to create efficiencies through automation and standardization. You integrate subject matter and industry expertise within your defined area, contributing significantly to project size, geography, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage projects by creating project plans, assigning responsibilities, and identifying data patterns & trends to enhance business decision-making capabilities - Independently manage end-to-end business partner communication and collaborate with different departments to understand reporting needs - Drive automation of existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort - Deliver high-class presentations to share thoughts, solutions, or problem statements with business stakeholders and senior management - Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities - Work closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 8+ years of experience - Excellent data and technical skills with hands-on experience in Python, Pyspark, and SQL - Advanced analytic ability and problem-solving skills in addressing business questions with data-driven solutions - Working experience in a quantitative field, preferably in the Financial/Credit Card industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and flexible in a matrix work environment - Strong project and process management skills - Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously In addition to the above, you should hold a Masters/University degree or equivalent experience.
