AVP-Business Analytics Sr Analyst

In this role as a C12 (Individual Contributor) AVP in the Retail Bank Fraud Analytics team within Citi Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team, your primary responsibility will be to analyze transaction data, understand fraud patterns, and develop fraud loss mitigation strategies to minimize fraud losses and customer impact. You will play a crucial role in monitoring strategy performance, collaborating with the strategy implementation team, and proactively coming up with fraud loss mitigation measures using new data sources and advanced analytics techniques. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing transaction data and extracting insights to develop fraud risk insights - Recommending business solutions and monitoring strategy performance - Optimizing existing rules to improve rule performance - Having a holistic view of different retail banking products and best practices - Integrating analytical thinking and business knowledge to develop client-centric solutions - Utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies effectively Qualifications for this role include: - 8+ years of analytics experience, preferably in Fraud Analytics - Proficiency in basic statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation, and predictive modeling - Strong skills in decision tree (CHAID/CART), Logistic Regression, exploratory data analysis - Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Hive, Impala, and Excel - Knowledge of Python is desirable - Experience in stakeholder management, translating data into consumer insights, and driving targeting strategies - Effective communication and presentation skills - Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Additionally, you are expected to support regulatory/audit activities and other risk and control activities as needed.
