Job Summary:

Audio Visual (AV) Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment including microphones, projectors, speakers, video conferencing systems, LED screens, lighting, and control systems.
• Coordinate with event planners, clients, and technical teams to meet specific event or presentation requirements.
• Handle live sound mixing, lighting control, and video playback during events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during setup and live operations.
• Ensure all AV systems are properly maintained, updated, and stored after use.
• Assist in designing and installing AV setups for conference rooms, event halls, and exhibitions.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and accessories.
• Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Sound Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an AV Technician (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of audio mixers, amplifiers, microphones, lighting consoles, video switchers, and projection systems.
• Familiarity with brands such as Shure, Yamaha, JBL, Epson, or Crestron is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and late nights for events.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
