Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress in JavaScript and TypeScript . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and test coverage. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automated tests. Debug and troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs and test reports. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in testing and automation. Ensure test coverage and traceability by maintaining clear and concise test documentation. Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC , providing input on requirements, design, and implementation to ensure testability. Monitor, maintain, and improve test environments and automation frameworks. Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce defects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 6+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress . Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing test scripts. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Solid coding skills with experience in building scalable test frameworks. Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Working knowledge of version control systems like Git .
