Job Description

Job Overview:

Automation QA Engineer

maintaining test automation frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for automating

test scenarios, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust and scalable

test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts
for web and mobile applications.
Build and enhance
automation frameworks
using tools such as:
Selenium
,
Cypress
,
Playwright
(for Web)
Appium
(for Mobile)
TestNG
,
JUnit
,
Mocha
(for framework support)
Perform
UI
,
API
,
regression
, and
smoke testing
using automation.
Integrate test suites into
CI/CD pipelines
using
Jenkins
,
GitHub Actions
, or similar tools.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
Maintain code repositories, manage test data, and collaborate with dev teams to fix defects.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in
test automation tools
: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium (preferred).
Strong coding/scripting skills in
Java
,
JavaScript
,
Python
, or
C#.
Experience with
API test automation
using
RestAssured
,
Postman
, or
SoapUI.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
like
Jenkins

GitHub Actions
, and container tools like Docker.
Basic knowledge of
SQL

MongoDB
, or other databases.
Agile development and
BDD/TDD
exposure is a plus.
Understanding of
test automation best practices
and version control (Git).
