Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and automation testing, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Analyze, review, and understand software requirements for automation testability.
Automate system-level scenarios using Cucumber and Ruby.
Create step definitions and bindings for feature files and validate user scenarios.
Utilize development, data manipulation, and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests.
Continuously research and improve the automation framework.
Collaborate with project teams on various frameworks used and effectively reuse libraries at the system level.
Lead teams and be technically sound.

Job Requirements

BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic track record.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development/Automation Testing.
At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies and Behavior-Driven Development.
Hands-on experience in Behavior-Driven Development and tools like Cucumber, Rspec, etc.
Strong database skills (MySQL & SQL server).
Experience with multiple test automation tools (Ruby Mine, QTP, Test Complete, etc.).
Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Chef, etc.
Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (defect logging tools, test management tools, versioning systems, statistical tools, performance monitoring tools, test automation tools, etc.).
Quick learner for new technologies with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team player and proactive behavior.
Experience in Safe Agile and Scrum Master roles is preferred, with at least 1-2 resources handling small scrum teams.
