Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
Selenium WebDriver with Java
Implement
BDD test automation
using
Cucumber
and Gherkin syntax
Perform
API testing and automation
using tools such as
Postman
or
Karate
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Perform regression, functional, smoke, and integration testing
Ensure best practices in test automation, code quality, and maintainability
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance

Preferred candidate profile

610 years of experience in
Software Test Automation
Strong hands-on experience with
Selenium WebDriver using Java
Proficient in
BDD framework – Cucumber
Solid experience in
API testing
using
Postman and/or Karate
