Automation Specialist

As a Process Control & Quality Automation Engineer at Tata Electronics Pvt. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop applications integrating vendor solutions for Fault Detection Classification (FDC), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Recipe Management System (RMS), Advanced Process Control (APC R2R), Yield Management System (YMS), Failure Modes & Effect Analysis (FMEA), Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP), and Quality Management System (QMS). - Collaborate with Fab operations team to understand business objectives, analyze operational needs, and implement robust, scalable solutions. - Monitor and maintain hardware/software systems, manage database transactions, monitor equipment tool performance, and conduct regular maintenance of automation programs. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, participate in shift pass-down meetings, and monitor operational performance during daily operations meetings. - Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities, participate in cross-functional initiatives, share lessons learned, and drive root-cause analysis. Essential Skills & Attributes: - Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL, and Oracle with at least 3 years of software development experience. - Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom environment and support high-volume manufacturing operations. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex manufacturing systems, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. - Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, proactive approach to root cause analysis, and enthusiasm to learn new technologies related to semiconductor domain. - Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Educational Qualification: - Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Preferred Experience: - Semiconductor manufacturing or process-control systems experience. - Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.,
