Summary:
Individual Contributor assists in Sales Managers or Branch Managers to achieve the sales targets. May responsible for direct sales and develops original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Coordinates with all stake holders ensure all client queries answered in timely and professional manner, as a developing sales professional and does not handle key accounts / relationship independently. Helps Senior Sales professionals in making proposals and business plans by providing information based on research and collation of data. Good communication & negotiation skills are required. Works on enhancing technical knowledge.
Essential Functions:
  1. Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
  2. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
  3. Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
  4. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
    Gathering market and customer information;
  5. Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  6. Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
  7. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  8. Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
  9. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system;
  10. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  11. Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
  12. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues

Education and Experience Requirements:

Should be Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent degree. Should have around 3+ of experience.
Competency Requirements:

Strong skills in Sales Fundamentals (listening, analyzing, problem solving, lead qualifying, negotiating, persevering, closing), Prospecting & New Customer Development, Value-based selling, and Territory Planning & Management.Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, OEM Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of OEM customers), Process Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of Process Solutions customers)
