Automation Manager-Rockwell

As the Project Automation Head for Rockwell at Instrumentation & Control Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and managing Rockwell Automation projects, utilizing platforms such as CompactLogix, ControlLogix, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk View, and RSLogix 5000. Your role will involve developing and implementing project execution plans to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, designing, programming, and optimizing PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams for seamless project execution. In this position, you will support internal teams during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system commissioning, while also leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers to ensure effective project delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the entire automation department, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or a related field, along with at least 12 years of experience in the automation industry. You should have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms, expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS system programming and troubleshooting, and experience in industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Utilities. Familiarity with communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc., as well as strong problem-solving and client communication skills, are essential for this role.
