Automation Lead

As an Automation Lead at SpanIdea, you will play a crucial role in developing software automation for programmable infrastructure using Python. Your responsibilities will include scoping features, creating and automating system/solution test plans, and focusing on feature verification and deployments. We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who thrives on challenges and is eager to contribute to our successful team of talented engineers. You should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing using Selenium with Python. Proficiency in Python programming is essential for this role. Your tasks will involve preparing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts, along with expertise in pytest and developing test automation frameworks. Furthermore, you will identify gaps, suggest process improvements, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In addition to your technical skills, you must have experience with git version control repositories and CI/CD integration tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or CircleCI. Your bug tracking and reporting skills should be strong, and you should be able to take end-to-end ownership of test automation development, execution, and delivery. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and take ownership of tasks. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
