Automation Lead

We are looking for an experienced Automation Lead with over 5 years of experience in developing automation strategies and systems tailored to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C#, along with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems for software development and testing. As an Automation Lead, your role will involve creating automated scripts, validating system functionality, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for developing automation strategies and designing systems that align with business and technical requirements. Additionally, you will create and maintain automation scripts, control algorithms, and applications for process and software automation. Designing and executing test plans to validate system performance, functionality, and compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. Identifying and resolving automation issues to ensure minimal disruption and system stability, as well as ensuring that automation solutions adhere to industry standards and safety regulations, are key aspects of this role. Moreover, you will guide and mentor junior automation engineers on tools, frameworks, and maintenance practices while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that automation systems meet end-user needs. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Java, C#, XPath, CSS, and a solid understanding of OOP principles. Experience in Selenium and other test automation frameworks, along with knowledge of API automation and SQL, is preferred. Familiarity with test metrics and automation architecture design is also beneficial. Strong experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies, as well as exposure to integrating test automation tools into broader ecosystems, are essential tools and frameworks for this role. In addition to technical expertise, excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices.
