Job Description

Define and own the end-to-end automation strategy for web and API products architecture, framework design, test coverage and maintenance.
Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing automation team; participate in hiring, code reviews, and technical mentorship to raise engineering quality.
Build and maintain robust, reusable test automation frameworks and libraries using Selenium and API automation tools.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; design automated gating, parallel test execution, and containerised test environments to speed feedback loops.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and DevOps to define testing strategy, shift-left practices, and measurable quality metrics (coverage, flaky test reduction, release readiness).
Drive continuous improvement: troubleshoot automation failures, optimise test suites for reliability and performance, and evangelise best practices in observability and test reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks for web testing.
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with proficiency in Python.
Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and containerisation (Docker).
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers, define QA strategy, and deliver automation at scale in Agile environments.
