Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance

  automation BOTs

  for monitoring, alerting, remediation, and operational workflows.
• Build

  self-healing automation

  using Python or Java to proactively resolve system issues.
• Create and maintain

  patching automation

  for Unix/Linux systems using Bash/Shell scripting.
• Implement

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Utilize

  AI Ops platforms

  (Moogsoft, BigPanda, Dynatrace, etc.) for anomaly detection and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
  
• Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation for automation workflows, patching logic, and BOT processes.
  

Required Technical Skills

• Strong scripting skills:

  Python, Java, Bash/Shell

• Hands-on experience in

  Unix/Linux system administration

• Good knowledge of

  Azure Cloud

• Experience with IaC tools:

  Terraform, Ansible

• Exposure to

  AI Ops tools

  (Moogsoft, BigPanda, Dynatrace, or similar)
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  & DevOps best practices
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
