Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript scripting, API testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

• Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured.

• Collaborate with the development team to understand features and implement automation solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and ensure automation scripts run efficiently in different environments.

• Identify, record, and track bugs, and work closely with the QA and development teams to resolve them.

• Continuously improve test coverage, maintainability, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills:

• 4–8 years of experience in test automation.

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright.

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience in API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.

• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and integration with automation frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with other automation tools or frameworks.

• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
