Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer at the MNC company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of multiple SaaS-based analytical applications in HTML5 frameworks with SOA-based data architecture. You will work within an Agile Scrum team to define quality assurance parameters, acceptance criteria, and verify quality ahead of CI/CD deployments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Participating in Agile Scrum meetings to determine quality assurance parameters and acceptance criteria - Working with automation frameworks such as Selenium and Postman to incorporate tests into reusable automated tests, covering API, Integration, and some UI levels - Performing Performance Testing - Implementing test procedures and processes - Ensuring successful deployment of products, aiming for Continuous Deployment within Sprints - Responding to requests from Product Managers and Developers - Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures Desired Skills & Experience: - Hands-on experience in UI automation using open-source libraries like Selenium, Playwright, etc. - Strong experience in API automation, with Postman experience preferred - Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with knowledge of the Robot Testing Framework being beneficial - Experience in Performance testing, with JMeter experience preferred - Familiarity with agile methodologies and a TDD and BDD approach to Software development - Experience in Agile environments, particularly Kanban/Scrum - Financial Experience is preferred, especially in Retail Banking - Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation for both GUI and API - Minimum 1+ years of experience with JMeter - Strong attention to detail - Critical thinking skills - Experience mentoring junior staff - Previous experience in Scrum settings with Agile Project management experience Join us now if you are an experienced Automation Engineer with a passion for quality assurance and a drive for continuous improvement in a dynamic Agile environment.,
