Automation Engineer

We have an urgent opening in an MNC company for an Automation Engineer for Pune & Bangalore locations. You should have at least 5+ years of experience in automation testing and possess skills in Selenium, UI automation, JMeter, GUI, and API. Immediate joiners are preferred for this position. As an Automation Engineer, you will be involved in the quality assurance process of multiple SaaS-based analytical applications in HTML5 frameworks with SOA-based data architecture using an Agile Scrum methodology. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with developers and product managers to determine quality assurance parameters, acceptance criteria, and ensuring quality ahead of CI/CD deployments. You will also work on automation frameworks such as Selenium and Postman to create reusable automated tests covering API, Integration, and UI levels. Performance testing and implementation of test procedures will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting quality issues, modifying test procedures, and ensuring successful product deployments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in UI automation using open-source libraries like Selenium and Playwright. Strong experience in API automation, particularly with Postman, is preferred. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with knowledge of the Robot Testing Framework, is desirable. Experience in Performance testing, especially with JMeter, is a plus. Having a background in agile methodologies, TDD, BDD approach to software development, and experience in Agile environments such as Kanban/Scrum will be beneficial. Financial experience, particularly in Retail Banking, will be advantageous. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 5+ years of experience in automation testing for both GUI and API, along with at least 1+ year of experience with JMeter. You should be detail-oriented, a critical thinker, and capable of mentoring junior staff. Previous experience in Scrum settings with Agile Project management experience is preferred.,
