A Technical Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales of a company's technical products or services, ensuring both the technical and commercial aspects are effectively managed. Sales Strategy & Planning Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the technical product/service category. Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and goals. Identify key market trends, opportunities, and threats to ensure the company stays competitive. 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both new and existing. Understand the technical needs of clients and offer tailored solutions. Conduct presentations, product demos, and technical discussions with clients to highlight the benefits of the product/service. 3. Sales Team Leadership & Coordination Lead and manage a team of technical sales professionals to achieve sales targets. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the sales team, ensuring they have a strong understanding of the product and its value proposition. Align sales and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on customer projects. 4. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise Stay updated on the technical specifications, features, and benefits of the products/services offered.
