Automation Design Engineer

You will work closely with the project, production, and commissioning teams to deliver accurate designs and ensure smooth execution of automation projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop

  automation systems

  , electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Prepare and modify

  electrical schematics

  using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
• Assist in programming, configuration, and testing of

  PLC, HMI, VFDs

  , and control systems.
• Work with project engineers to understand system requirements and select appropriate components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as

  IEC, IS

  , and customer specifications.
• Prepare BOMs, layout drawings, cable schedules, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with production and testing teams for panel assembly and system integration.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities at client sites (if required).
• Ensure timely delivery of designs and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma B.E B.Tech in

  Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics

  , or related field.
• 13 years of experience in

  automation design, electrical design, or control panel design

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  AutoCAD AutoCAD Electrical

  .
• Basic understanding of

  PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs

  , and control logic.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring, sensors, actuators, and industrial equipment.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in PLC programming (Siemens Allen Bradley Mitsubishi).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (

  Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP

  ).
• Familiarity with machine automation, robotics, or motion control systems.
• Understanding of safety circuits and panel troubleshooting.
