Automation Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automation Design Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in designing automated machines, mechanisms, fixtures, and systems. The candidate should be proficient in 3D/2D design software, have strong automation concept knowledge, and be capable of developing practical, manufacturable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:•
Develop automation concepts based on project requirements (material handling, assembly, inspection, machining automation, etc.).Design automated mechanisms, special-purpose machines (SPM), and robotic/actuator-based systems.Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks/AutoCAD (or other CAD tools).Select appropriate components such as pneumatics, sensors, actuators, motors, cylinders, linear guides, and other automation elements.Perform basic motion studies and ensure functional design of mechanisms.•Coordinate with electrical, controls, and production teams for complete system integration.•Review designs for manufacturability, safety, durability, and cost effectiveness.Support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems on the shop floor.Provide documentation including BOM, assembly drawings, and design reports.•Required Skills & Qualifications:•
Strong understanding of automation systems, mechanisms, and machine design.Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD platforms.Knowledge of pneumatics, sensors, actuators, and industrial components.Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and manufacturing processes.Ability to convert concepts into complete working designs independently.Good communication skills and teamwork capability.Problem-solving skills with a focus on practical engineering solutions.Experience:•3–4 years in automation design, SPM design, or machine-building industry.

Pay: ₹25,007.97 - ₹40,622.65 per month
