Job Description:

We are urgently hiring a Solar Plant Design Engineer who is skilled in preparing technical designs and layouts for solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for complete solar plant engineering including layout planning, energy generation estimation, BoM preparation, and Module Mounting Structure (MMS) design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete solar plant layouts (rooftop & ground-mounted) using AutoCAD and related tools.
• Design optimized plant structure with string sizing, tilt angle, and orientation.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) as per project capacity and design.
• Calculate energy losses and forecast plant generation using PVSyst or similar tools.
• Design MMS structure and foundation details (civil + structural).
• Perform shadow analysis and optimize module placement for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement and execution teams for project implementation.
• Revise designs based on client/site feedback or regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in solar EPC or renewable energy sector.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, PVSyst (or equivalent simulation tools).
• Understanding of MNRE, DISCOM, and site-level design norms.
• Knowledge of SLD, string inverter integration, and HT/LT side design will be a plus.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
