Auth0 Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auth0 Developer with a strong background in customer identity and access management (CIAM) and deep expertise in Auth0 customization and extensibility. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure and seamless authentication experiences across multiple applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
•Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Auth0 for web, mobile, and API platforms. •Customize Auth0 Universal Login pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Auth0s branding tools. •Develop and maintain Auth0 Rules, Hooks, Actions, and custom extensions to meet business requirements. •Integrate SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 identity protocols with third-party applications and service providers. •Configure MFA (multi-factor authentication) policies including opt-in/out scenarios and conditional logic. •Manage user onboarding, migration, and profile enrichment using Auth0 APIs and pipelines. •Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to secure applications and APIs with Auth0 tokens. •Implement custom error handling, branding, language localization, and user journey improvements. •Conduct unit testing, security testing, and performance optimization of Auth0 workflows. •Work with stakeholders to understand functional and security requirements and translate them into Auth0 configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. •3+ years of hands-on experience with Auth0 in enterprise environments. •Strong understanding of OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, and JWTs. •Experience with customizing Auth0 Universal Login and hosted pages. •Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and front-end customization. •Experience with Auth0 Rules, Actions, Hooks, and custom database connections. •Ability to design secure and scalable CIAM architectures. •Knowledge of identity lifecycle, SCIM, JIT provisioning, and user migration strategies. •Familiarity with logging, analytics, and Auth0 monitoring tools. •Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Auth0 Developer or Similar Certification. •Experience with React, Node.js, or other JavaScript frameworks. •Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Splunk, or SIEM tools for Auth0 log analysis. •Experience with reverse proxies like Akamai or CDN integration forsecure authentication routing. •Understanding of GDPR, SOC2, and security compliance considerations.
