Job Description

Role Overview:

Australian accounting processes

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day Australian bookkeeping activities
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare BAS, IAS, and GST reports as required
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Work on month-end closing activities and financial reporting
Liaise with Australian clients professionally and handle their queries effectively
Support the senior accountant and team in accounting tasks
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards

Required Skills & Experience:

1 to 3 years of experience in Australian accounting
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Xero and hands-on experience with bookkeeping
Knowledge of MYOB will be an added advantage
Understanding of Australian taxation rules (BAS, GST) is preferred
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
Additional accounting certifications are an advantage
