Job Description

The Audit / Tax Assistant will support the audit and taxation team in conducting financial audits, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves working with clients across various sectors and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and tax documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits of clients.
  • Support the preparation and filing of income tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Review and verify financial documents, records, and reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and tax-related work.
  • Assist in responding to tax notices, queries, and assessments.
  • Coordinate with clients to collect necessary data and documentation.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Prepare working papers and summaries for audit and tax review.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by seniors.
  • Candidate should be BA / B.Com.
  • Should have 1 to 3 years of experience in same field.
