AUDIT EXECUTIVE Job Description - An internal audit executive in the automobile industry ensures operational, financial, and regulatory compliance by conducting risk assessments, reviewing internal controls, and analyzing supply chain and production processes. They are responsible for creating audit plans, performing audits to identify vulnerabilities, and developing reports with recommendations for management to improve efficiency, prevent fraud, and maintain asset integrity. Key Responsibilities Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to safeguard assets from fraud and theft. Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to automotive industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies. Internal Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes. Supply Chain Production Audits: Assess and monitor the entire supply chain, from procurement to inventory control, and review production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Financial Analysis: Review financial statements and data to identify discrepancies and ensure financial reliability. Process Improvement: Provide recommendations to management for improving operational efficiency, controlling waste, and streamlining processes. Reporting: Prepare clear, concise reports on audit findings, managements action plans, and recommendations for improvement. Audit Planning: Develop annual audit plans based on identified risks and organizational goals. In the Automotive Context Specialized Oversight: Focus on unique aspects of the automotive sector, such as production control, supply chain integrity, and quality standards. Supply Chain Focus: Regularly review inventory accuracy and the entire supply chain to prevent stockouts and excess inventory costs. Production Process Review: Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, material delays, or machine breakdowns that could affect efficiency or quality. Regulatory Adherence: Ensure the company adheres to specific automotive regulations and industry standards in its operations and financial reporting.
