Internal Audit Sr. Associate

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Internal Audit:

• Conduct risk-based internal audits for various clients across industries.
• Develop audit plans, execution schedules, and prepare audit programs.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify process inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
• Draft detailed audit reports, including findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations with clients.

Project Auditing:

• Perform audits of ongoing infrastructure, industrial, or development projects.
• Review project documentation, financials, budgets, and fund utilization.
• Review of Material Management / Inventory control during project phase.
• Verify compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
• Conduct physical verification and site visits to assess project progress.
• Review of RA Bill processing controls.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Regularly interact with client management teams and audit team.
• Present audit findings and discuss corrective & preventive actions with senior stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of client service while ensuring audit objectives are met.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain complete working papers in compliance with firm policies and standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of audit findings and deliverables.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting, auditing standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in Internal Audit, Project Audit, or related fields works.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within Gujarat, as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with audit tools is a plus.
