Job Description

Construction-Role & responsibilities

3-7 years

Assist in
conducting audits of construction contracts
, focusing on cost verification and compliance.
Analyze financial records, including invoices and
change orders,
against contract stipulations.
Collaborate with clients and contractors to gather necessary documentation.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
Support pre-construction contract reviews to establish effective financial controls.
Will be involved in
Contract Administration, Planning, Billing, Coordination, Budgeting.
Perform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billings reviews.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in
Construction Management
, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in audit compliance
or the
construction industry
.
Familiarity with
construction project
documentation and billing processes.
Ability to support
Eastern Time Zone calls
and working hours as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with
construction contract auditing.
Knowledge of industry standards such as COSO and the GAO Yellow Book is a plus.
Good English communication skills
Exposure working in Big4s is a plus.
