Audio Visual (AV) Engineer 2

As an Audio Video (AV) Engineer at MongoDB, you will play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex audio-visual systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the AV Lead and Senior AV Engineers to design and implement advanced AV systems, performing site surveys and technical assessments, configuring and optimizing a wide range of AV equipment, providing hands-on executive support, conducting testing and commissioning of systems, troubleshooting complex AV system issues, and managing preventative maintenance schedules. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed system documentation, staying current with emerging AV technologies, mentoring GET support staff, managing AV-related inventory, and contributing to the development of AV standards and procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with AV team to design and implement advanced AV systems - Perform site surveys and technical assessments for system design - Configure and optimize various AV equipment - Provide hands-on executive support in-person and remotely - Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed systems - Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV system issues - Develop and maintain detailed system documentation - Stay current with emerging AV technologies - Mentor and provide technical guidance to GET support staff - Manage AV-related inventory and coordinate with procurement - Contribute to the development of AV standards and procedures **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 2+ years of experience in design, installation, and maintenance of professional AV systems - Experience with Zendesk and Jira ticketing systems - Ability to lift and move AV equipment as needed - Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends - Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (5-10%) - Relevant industry training and certifications such as CTS-D or CTS-I preferred - Slack Admin & Developer certification, Monday.com admin certification, 365 admin and Teams admin experience preferred At MongoDB, we are committed to creating a supportive and enriching culture for our employees.
