Job Description

As an Astronomy Program Coordinator at Space Technology and Education Pvt. Ltd. (SPACE India), your role is crucial in building strong interactions with the public and students interested in astronomy. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively communicate the wonders of space science and astronomy to the public. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct astronomy observations and provide training on telescopes and other equipment during evening and night observations at SPACE sites. - Maintain the quality standards of program conduction to ensure a seamless experience for clients. - Plan and execute client programs, sessions, activities, and events on time, adhering to the agenda. - Organize outreach events under the banner of SPACE India to engage the community. - Represent the company in various media platforms through interviews, talk shows, and by writing articles in magazines and newspapers. - Assist in promoting and propagating astronomy and space science education. - Organize and participate in events such as fairs, quiz competitions, observations, and public watches to create awareness. - Volunteer to popularize Astronomy and Space Science among the masses. - Implement teaching techniques focused on student-centered activities that cater to different learning styles. Qualifications Required: - Education: BSc/MSc in Physics/Astrophysics. - Experience: Fresher or with 2 years of teaching experience. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Proficiency in MS Office tools. - Strong research and development skills along with public relations expertise. Attitude and Perks: - Adaptive to challenging environments. - Curious and open to learning. - Flexible with travel and work timings. - Paid astronomy and equipment training for 2 months. - Young and vibrant team. - Traveling perks.
