Astrophysics Educator

The role at Space Technology & Education Pvt Ltd involves building a strong interaction with the public and students interested in astronomy. As a part of this position, you will be responsible for conducting Astronomy Observations, providing training in telescope and other equipment during evening and night observations at SPACE sites. It is crucial to maintain the quality standard of program conduction and plan client programs/sessions/activities/events on time, freeze, and follow the agenda. Organizing outreach events under the banner of SPACE India and representing the company across various media platforms through interviews, participation in talk shows, and writing papers and articles in magazines and newspapers are key responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be expected to assist in the promotion and propagation of astronomy and space science education, organize and participate in events like fairs, quiz competitions, observations, and Public Watches. Participation and volunteering for popularizing Astronomy and Space Science among the masses are essential aspects of this role. Implementing multiple teaching techniques focusing on student-centered activities that incorporate various learning styles and active practice of the language is also part of the responsibilities. Qualifications required for this position include experience in astronomy or astrophysics education (if any), a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Astrophysics, Astronomy, Education, or a related field, and a strong passion for space science and astronomy. The educational background sought is BSc/MSc in Physics or any science-related field. Freshers are encouraged to apply for this profile.
