Assurance Senior

As an Assurance Senior at our office in Suriname, you will play a crucial role in our esteemed Assurance group, which is highly trusted and respected in the industry. Your primary responsibility will be to provide assurance to clients by ensuring the accuracy and validity of financial statements and business-critical information. By utilizing your skills and experience, you will instill confidence in companies, investors, and regulators. Joining our Audit team will allow you to assist clients in meeting their reporting requirements through an objective and independent examination of financial statements. You will engage in timely discussions with management regarding accounting and reporting matters, providing a clear perspective to audit committees. Your responsibilities as an Assurance Senior will include developing and maintaining productive relationships with clients, overseeing fieldwork, adapting audit approaches, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles, and fostering an innovative work environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing training, feedback, and conducting performance reviews for team members. To qualify for this position, candidates should hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or a related field, along with relevant accounting designations such as ACCA, CA, CGA, or CPA. A minimum of 3 years of auditing experience in a public accounting firm or specific business/industry exposure is required. Strong project management, communication (both Dutch and English), teamwork, and leadership skills are essential, along with integrity in a professional setting.
