ob Title: Assistant Pharmacist

Reporting to: Pharmacist / Clinic Incharge

Key Responsibilities:1. Dispensing and Medication Handling

• Assist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
• Ensure correct labeling and packaging of medicines.
• Cross-check expiry dates and batch numbers before dispensing.

2. Stock Management

• Monitor and maintain medicine inventory.
• Check for near-expiry or expired medications regularly and report to the pharmacist.
• Assist in ordering and restocking medicines and consumables as per demand.

3. Patient Interaction

• Provide basic instructions to patients on medicine usage as per prescription.
• Guide patients politely and ensure they understand dosage and timing.

4. Documentation and Registers

• Maintain daily pharmacy sales register, stock register, and expiry register.
• Assist in maintaining records for narcotic or special category drugs (if applicable).

5. Cleanliness and Storage

• Ensure that the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and well-ventilated.
• Follow proper storage protocols (e.g., cold storage for vaccines, insulin, etc.).

6. Support Pharmacist

• Assist the pharmacist in audits, billing, and returns.
• Support in preparing indents for medicines based on stock and usage.

7. Coordination

• Coordinate with doctors and nurses for emergency medicine requirements.
• Help manage pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist, under supervision.

8. Compliance and Safety

• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Ensure biomedical waste in the pharmacy is properly disposed of.

• Basic computer and billing knowledge.
• Ability to work under supervision and manage time efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
