Asst Manager - IT Procurement

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage procurement process in terms of understanding requirements technically, finding suppliers, handling commercial & MSA negotiations

2. Techno-commercial evaluation of bids / quotes from suppliers based on total cost of ownership (TCO) model. Derive correct commercial construct in the deal.

3. Identify cost saving areas for the category. Maintain checks and Governance on the deals signed. Renegotiating existing vendor contracts basis the current consumption levels.

4. Interact with internal stakeholders from business side to understand their requirements and research in market for the required solution.

5. Make Purchase Order, Prepare deal summary sheets with comprehensive contract terms; seek approvals from authorities to proceed with Ordering.

6. Timely updation of Expense Tracker & Renewals Tracker. Managing Vendor database, new vendor development.

7. Follow up for delivery of materials and ensure on time supplies

8. Support vendor Invoice verification process & get it timely rectified from vendors

9. IT Opex & Capex Budgeting - Forecasting and expenditure control

Pre-Requisites -

1. Experience in buying IT products, Cloud Providers Services, IT Security Products, ISP Connectivity, Software Vendors and Application Development vendors

2. Experience in Software / Services Contract Agreement Negotiations would be preferred

3. Willing to travel to IIFL office in Mumbai and Gurgaon

4. Knowledge of factors (taxes, duties etc) affecting the pricing for various IT Components

5. Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite, specially MS Excel & MS PowerPoint to make various price comparitives, derive TCO model and presentations to the management.

6. Should have excellent verbal & written communication skills

7. Should be well versed with Procurement & Contracting operations (PR-to-PO and Procure-to-pay Process); Vendor evaluation process
