Role & responsibilities Initiate and maintain Best EHS practices in the manufacturing units. To provide safe working environment to all employees in accordance and in compliance with Statutory requirements as per Factories Act 1948 and respective state Factory Rules. To advise on Environment Health & Safety aspects in all job studies and to carryout detailed job safety studies of selected jobs. To ensure availability of high quality personal protective equipment Assesses risk potential of hazardous areas and equipments by conducting various audit. To comply the year plan of Audits, Trainings etc. To conduct periodical audits with various elements and parameters in cluster units. To carry out plant safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and to render advise on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by employees. Develops and implements procedure for incident investigation & near miss. Ensure implementation & execution of Corporate EHS strategy & action plan. To promote setting up of EHS committees and act as adviser and catalyst to such committees. To fulfil Iso 45001 & ISO 14001 requirements & maintain standards are must. To develop systems and procedures pertaining to unit level activities. To conduct Mock drill practice across all manufacturing locations with different potential emergencies. To co-operate with Unit Management Representative for the implementation of EMS & OHSMS requirements. Conducting and monitoring EHS Training activities as per the calendar. To implement visual displays, permit to work system, LOTO and road safety adherence. To educate contract workers and service providers to adhere EHS standards. To ensure sustain the best practices across all Units. To prepare budget(Unit level & Corp.level) for the specific requirements to the units. To initiate participative culture to enhance the EHS performance. To ensure the CAPA effectiveness of all findings. To support all stakeholders in order to use Suraksha 360 Preferred candidate profile Qualification: Any Graduates with Dip. Industrial Safety from RLI(Regional Labour Institute)/CLI (Central Labour Institute) with 8 to 10 years experience (or) ME(Industrial Safety) approved by DISH (Director of Industrial safety & Health) with 3 to 5 years experience. Language : English,Hindi and Telugu Experience in Manufacturing sector is essential at least 3-5 years. Experience in Projects(Construction/Power), overseas, oil rigs, Power plant, Cement plant are not preferred. Experience as a safety head with a responsibility of handling a multi-location plants shall be an added advantage
