Job Description

Design Planning

Assist in developing comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plans that align with project objectives.
Contribute to designing robust research methodologies, including defining key indicators, research questions, and data collection tools

Field Operations Data Collection

Support the planning and executing field data collection exercises across urban, semi-urban, or rural settings.
Coordinate with field personnel and local partners to ensure smooth implementation of data-gathering activities.
Assist in designing, testing, and deploying paper-based and digital survey instruments (e.g., using CAPI tools).

Data Management Analysis

Lead the cleaning, validating, and managing of datasets to ensure high-quality data.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses using tools like Microsoft Excel, STATA, R, or other relevant software.
Generate preliminary insights, visualisations, and comprehensive reports that inform program strategies.

Reporting Stakeholder Engagement

Prepare detailed concept notes, research briefs, and presentation materials to communicate project findings.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (including government bodies, donors, and technology partners) to share insights and drive collaborative decision-making.
Assist in crafting clear and concise deliverables, such as policy briefs and analytical reports, that translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Continuous Learning Improvement

Actively contribute to refining MEL methodologies by documenting lessons learned and best practices.
Support creating and maintaining an internal knowledge repository for continuous learning across projects.

Experience Requirements:

Educational Background:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, data analytics, or related roles, preferably in the social impact sector.
Field Experience:
Hands-on experience with primary data collection in diverse field settings.
