Job Description

Apply critical thinking to solve complex data challenges, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions that improve data quality and reporting outcomes.
Design, build, and optimise ETL processes and ADA data pipelines using SQL , Python , and the Databricks platform , ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
Develop and maintain data models that support reporting and analytics use cases, ensuring alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.
Work with large and complex data sets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
Collaborate with end users to gather requirements, explain data concepts, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across PB Data analytics teams
Build strong relationships across teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of data flows and reporting objectives.
Document data processes, definitions, and architecture to support transparency and maintainability.
Apply a detail-oriented approach to data validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
Strong understanding of ETL frameworks , data modelling , and data architecture principles.
Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms (eg, Azure, AWS, GCP).
Ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and build effective working relationships.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data issues and propose effective solutions
